No superfluous decorative elements are provided on its front. This makes it more functional, as drops of wax inevitably fall on this area when the spatula is being inserted and removed, which would damage the controls.
The MESTRA wax heater is set for a temperature of around 85 °C, which melts wax in 8 to 10 minutes.
